Entrepreneurial vision and Brazil’s system of higher education assessment

Purpose This paper aims to propose a performance measurement system evaluate the key aspects of entrepreneurial activities in Brazilian universities. Design/methodology/approach study was developed two phases. Both phases consisted survey sent universities (public, private and not-for-profit) whose technology transfer offices (TTO) had contributed annual report by Ministry Science, Technology Innovation (MCTI, 2015), which evaluates implementation Law. Multiple correspondence analysis used analyze answers. Findings A set 13 indicators characteristics organizational structure institutions identified for purpose evaluating level development entrepreneurship activities. Research limitations/implications The main limitation this relates low quality responses. It not possible qualitatively validate all selected indicators. is because are still internally organized, higher authorities do enforce collection treatment data based on existing legislation. Originality/value results study, with definition indicators, can be inform public policy stimulation other countries regions.
